Description
This is a brand new never used official 1987 World Series baseball. It is exactly the same kind that was used during the 1987 World Series. The ball is signed, very legibly and boldly directly on the sweet spot by then major-league baseball commissioner Peter Ubberroth. The ball is 37 years old and is white with just hints of the beginnings of toning on it. There are absolutely no rips, stains, tears or abrasions on this ball whatsoever! The signature is actually quite legible and quite beautiful. It is bold and is directly on the sweet spot of the baseball. There is some slight bleeding on the signature. However, it is not significant enough as to distract from, the overall appearance of the signature, in my opinion. Most importantly, the authenticity of the signature is authenticated by the James Spence company. There is a sticker on the baseball attesting to this. In addition, there is a certificate of authenticity that also to the authenticity of the signature. Please refer to the photographs to appreciate the quality of this autographed baseball.
