Description

1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro clock parts. Face, bezel, hands, lens, light bulbs, circuit board for quartz movement. These clock parts are from new old stock clocks. The circuit boards are NOS and have never been installed in a clock. If your clock is not working you can clean the movement and apply a light grease to the gears and pivot points and replace the circuit board(4 solder joints). The circuit board normally wears out before the clock movement. The quartz movements were removed from the clocks because I used them in my business in other clocks. The face, bezel, are excellent. The light bulbs have been tested and are in working order. The second hand is excellent, the hour hand and second hand are very good, but may need a touch of paint. The lens are clear and not faded, but have some minor scratches that can be polished out of the lens. The case is included to hold all the parts. These parts should refresh your clock to look like new. Take your old clock apart, clean your old quartz movement and lightly grease the gears and moveable parts with touch of fine machine oil or fine grease, replace the circuit board if necessary. These quartz movements last a long time. I have been working on clocks since 1994 and I think I have had one clock returned because it quit working. I cleaned the movement and sent the clock back to the customer. Repair your old clock instead of buying a reproduction. DO NOT USE WD40 TO CLEAN THE CLOCK OR FOR LUBRICATION. WD40 WILL ATTRACT DUST AND DISOLVE RUBBER PARTS AND GUM UP THE MOVEMENT. INSTEAD USE LPS 1 OR AN ELECTRICAL CONTACT CLEANER TO CLEAN THE MOVEMENT. THEN ADD FINE GREASE WITH A TOOTHPICK TO THE GEARS AND ANY PIVOT POINTS. LPS WILL CLEAN AND LUBRICATE AT THE SAME TIME AND WILL NOT ATTRACT DUST OR DISOLVE RUBBER PARTS.
