Description

(Discounted because of it's age worn, the missing stitching on this 90-95+ year old cow hide gauge case). This very nice looking Model A Gauge Displays great and would be a excellent Christmas gift for the 'close friend, that one relative or to give yourself a nice gift. All inner mechanics of the very tire gauge', the gears, springs, levers, air pressure vessel, needle return spring, etc... have all been checked for damage, fixed or replace if needed and the entire inner parts have been refurbished to be as in day one condition. We do all repairs in our shop - we never use 3rd party companies to do our work and we can easily spend up to and over 2+ hours on each tire gauge before it's listed For Sale. Exterior has been cleaned as best as possible to look as nice as possible. This has a new Faceplate and a triple chrome plated Beautiful straight Valve Stem - both quality parts are America made and near (99.9%) exact to the antique originals. The Pouch is torn, ripped, has missing stitching on both sides - sew the pouches outer rim where needed and it will be fine enough to store, hold and protect the gauges body and original Lens from getting scratched or dinged up. The Original faceplate will be sent with this tool. It shows date Gauge was made and/or assembled. You can only know it's exact age after it's been disassembled and the original face plates rear side will have the month and year date the gauge was assembled on the backside. The other 4 numbers are the employees/the assemblers ID numbers as a kind of quality stamp incase the gauge was brought back for any issue the buyer may of had with it. Many (most) people like knowing the real age of the tools they have in their hand, in their display, so with this gauge there is no guessing about it's age - you'll have the original faceplate with it's assembled date. Nickel Plating has light age and still has a very nice show off shine. Body has no dents, no cracks. The Lens has a few light surface scratch/rub marks as seen in the upper area. Use close ups, all pictures are very accurate. Gauge tested working, but is not sold as a accurate tool since we don't have the proper tools to recalibrate the gauge - it's for Display, for the owners personal Enjoyment and Fun.
